Someone put Doom to run on a card machine

A purported Spanish programmer has managed to run the classic version of Doom on a credit card machine, a feat showcased on X/Twitter. Making Doom operate on unconventional devices has become a sort of classic meme. This time, with the card machine, the bar has been raised even higher. Moreover, the gameplay ingeniously includes swiping a card to open doors within the game.

The remaining gameplay is up to the machine’s number keys. It is not demonstrated, however, how the character shoots.

The identity of the author of the game’s programming was not revealed, at least not in the post where the video was broadcast.
